Abstract
This chapter outlines the modeling transformative culturally responsive leadership (MTCRL) framework. This framework provides a playbook for principals and other school leaders for their school transformation journey. The MTCRL framework is based on six key tenets for shaping an equitable school culture through modeling CRL with teachers. Additionally, in this chapter, a clear connection is made to how CRL relates to each of these six tenets of leadership. The six tenets include visibility and presence, a focus on relationships, leading from belief, differentiating to meet teachers' individual needs, principal self-reflection, and shaping culture through stewarding differences.
