Abstract
Technology-driven human resource management is the order of the day. The knowledge of available technologies and their implications in some HRM functions is critical for today's managers. The focus of the chapter is to discuss the challenges and issues in traditional HRM, and the impact of the integration of technologies in some of the HRM functions like human resource planning, candidate tracking, workforce management, talent acquisition and recruitment, career management, employee relationship management, compensation, training, succession planning, retention, and others. The chapter also provides a list of software tools available for various HRM functions and their purpose, information technologies in Industry 5.0
