Abstract

The world is going through a major transformation with the advancement in science and technology. Machines are becoming smarter with underlying computing power and hence with artificial intelligence machines have started to mimic human behavior. Huge investment in technology has taken the Industrial Revolution to Industry 6.0 where technology giants in cloud computing have enabled a lot of exploration around artificial intelligence helping with new use-cases and applications, project management, and Human Resources Management is also no different. Artificial intelligence in human resources management has its share of buzz and fear-mongering with lots of worries and anxiety, opinions echoing of machines taking over humans resulting in loss of autonomy and jobs, and many more. This chapter will explore the different risk dimensions of artificial intelligence-based human resource management to analyze risks, as well as impacts for helping organizations transform the perceived threats into opportunities in Industry 6.0.
