Abstract
The goal of this chapter is to present information on sports technology, specifically how the metaverse will affect the sports world and how well sports will adapt to life in the metaverse. The findings of the study conducted for the literature review have been described in the chapter, and the chapter has also investigated all the possible target outcomes. It has been proven that the sports industry is ready to enter the metaverse and has already taken action to do so as it guides the sporting world into the future.
