Influence and Importance of the Principles of Financial Control for Preserving the Financial Security and Stability of the Country

Abstract

State control exercised in unitary states differs significantly from control exercised in federations, confederations and personal unions. Due to the limited development, we turn our attention to the internal control exercised in the unitary countries, such as Bulgaria. The overall internal control process in the unitary states is carried out by deconcentrating state power through the division of control activities between central and decentralized control bodies. Also, the bodies of the legislative power, the central executive and the judiciary have sufficient powers to be able to perform and implement the centralized state control order. They deal more with the established generally accepted control principles and apply the derived principles of financial control to a lesser extent. Decentralized control bodies have limited powers, they are fully subordinated to the central legislative, executive and judicial branches.
