Abstract
Underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSN) comprise of numerous relatively low-cost, self-organizing, and static as well as mobile sensor nodes. The wireless sensor node is used to sense natural phenomenon in terms of humidity, temperature, etc. BS is used to collect required information with proper location information from the sensor nodes and process it for future references. The problem of localization in underwater sensor nodes has led to proposal of many techniques over the past few decades. In this chapter, an intelligent scan model method has been proposed for localization system under UWSN. The localization system is used to identify the actual location of sensor node for identifying sense data properly trough Data MULE (mobile ubiquitous LAN extensions), which is an unmanned floating vehicle that has a sufficient amount of storage area and rechargeable energy to store the data of the sensors in the field. Finally, the proposed method is compared with existing method and outperforms the results efficiently.
