Abstract

Rapid demands for the representation of various scenes and objects have bought in an evolution that ought to bring in the applications, usage, and development of various 3D modeling software. One would have the interest to have a glimpse of a sample (i.e., a 3D model of any structure to be created in the future). This chapter describes the usage and applications of 3ds Max with lights and camera view rendering related to which creating a 3D virtual scene of a living room is briefed. The chapter also includes the methodologies of designing and implementing various features of 3ds Max like editors, materials, lights, modifiers, and camera rendering. Usage of modifiers like edit poly, edit mesh, turbo-smooth, mesh smooth bend, etc. are briefly described. This chapter can assure a variety of map usages like texture maps with various camera angles to have a clear perspective of every object and scene in detail.
