Abstract
We are living in an entrepreneurship era. There is an increasing demand in the modern economy to prepare university students for future work life and industry challenges. In our fast-changing and challenging world, success is not guaranteed by only having a university certificate. Universities play a key role in developing students' entrepreneurial abilities, such as competencies, skills, creativity, and knowledge as part of their “Third Mission” to contribute to social, cultural, and economic development through fostering creativity, innovation, and knowledge transfer activities. This chapter focuses on entrepreneurial development activities through digital technologies or e-learning systems to improve students' entrepreneurial abilities, such as skills, creativity, competencies, and knowledge in HE. The chapter presents one of the entrepreneurship skills development models widely used in education, the readiness inventory for successful entrepreneurs (RISE) model, pitch competitions, and discusses how e-learning systems can facilitate entrepreneurial development in HE.
