Abstract
The growing popularity of electric vehicles and the need for environmentally friendly transportation have made it necessary to build smart roadways with charging station equipped by energy harvesting and management systems. In order to collect and transform ambient energy into electrical power, the suggested system makes use of a variety of energy harvesting technologies embedded in the road surface, including solar panels, wind energy, etc. A complex energy management system integrated into the smart road infrastructure effectively stores, distributes, and transfers the captured energy in real time to electric vehicle charging stations or to the vehicles themselves. The suggested system comprises of essential elements such as intelligent inverters, decentralized energy storage units, and a central management system that manages the entire process. In the proposed renewable energy integrated charging system having energy production of 3,00,233 kWh/year with energy storage of 161 kWh.
