Abstract

This chapter delves into the factors influencing the implementation of business analytics in the healthcare sector of MENA (Middle East and North Africa) countries. A comprehensive theoretical model has been developed to encompass various organizational, technological, human, and external factors. The data analysis plan involves both descriptive and inferential statistical methods to analyze the collected data. Regression analysis, factor analysis, and correlation analysis will be used to examine the relationships between the identified factors and the success of business analytics implementation. Additionally, qualitative analysis will be conducted to identify common strategies and approaches that have been effective in overcoming barriers to the adoption of business analytics in healthcare. The findings of this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on business analytics adoption in healthcare and provide insights for managers and policymakers in MENA countries to overcome barriers and promote the effective utilization of business analytics in the healthcare sector.
