Abstract

This chapter is about the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It examines the framework and policy of national development through the years. The chapter analyzes the progress of the state considering the ongoing global volatility that creates risks. The chapter delves into a step-by-step process of the UAE national identity, which is now seen as a global brand. The chapter explores the strategies and the leadership skills defined and expressed through the traditions, history, and policies that govern the land while committing to the international community. Through this examination, the authors conclude that the UAE will continue to grow, yet they consider that it will play a most important and pivotal role in the international community in the years to come. The UAE is a cross-world of civilizations.
