Abstract
Stories today are everywhere, and television changed history, telling the same tales to all, worldwide. Mankind is living on narratives, overlapping reality, beyond time, facts, and technologies. Since the 1960s, people have imagined a centralized and oppressive future led by the unapproachable power of a Big Brother, hopefully saved by superheroes, and maybe we cannot take advantage of the possibilities we have to impact the world because we're too busy talking and hearing storytelling about it. Billions of users one by one choose music, movies, news, and publish texts, photos, videos online, not only receivers, but producers and, often unaware, transmitters of information. Surrounded by real and fake information without feeling to control it, we are afraid of what we tell ourselves, for ourselves and for our children, and we cannot take advantage of the latent culture that, if aware, could make us active protagonist in the information society. This chapter explores unaware producers of information in a world of narrative.
