Abstract

The rapid influx of remote job opportunities has positioned the topic of job motivation to remain integral within organizational workplaces. The concept of motivation relating to employees' guides working tasks from mundane activities to typing an email to elaborate discourse of complex decisions for CEOs of multi-million-dollar companies. Understanding the external and internal influences on job motivation is essential to workplaces fostering positive working conditions, offering compelling salaries and benefits, valuing employees' efforts and contributions, and driving companies forward to succeed in today's continually diversified work atmospheres. For example, the most famous case of employee satisfaction to examine job motivation was done by Fredrick Herzberg. His research explored the internal and external job factors which influenced job satisfaction of employees. The latter case is relevant to working mothers and the current need to continue global efforts of diversified workplaces and inclusive organizational policies.
