Abstract
This chapter investigates the function of school inspections as a strategy for educational system improvement. School inspections are conducted to assess the academic quality and verify that schools adhere to specified criteria. The inspection process entails a thorough assessment of different areas of a school, such as the curriculum, teaching quality, facilities, and resources. The inspection results are used to assign a rating to the school and offer input on areas for improvement. The chapter explores how school inspections assist both schools and the education system. School inspections give valuable insights into educational quality and can assist schools in identifying areas for improvement. Furthermore, they act as a benchmark for schools, allowing them to compare their performance to other schools and establish development targets.
