Abstract
In addition to other cutting-edge computer technologies, the internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and others have been used in agriculture. However, there is currently increased focus on the use of such technologies. It is now possible to monitor the agricultural environment and ensure high-quality production through cutting-edge IoT technologies in amalgamation with nanoscience. Nanotechnology is the branch of science that deals with manipulating materials on a nanoscale. By encountering problems that cannot be solved conventionally, working with the smallest particles imaginable inspires hopes for enhancing agricultural productivity. By releasing fixed nutrients, efforts are made to restore soil fertility in the management aspects. Nano biosensors and satellite systems are used to assess the input needs for crops in controlled conditions for agriculture and precision farming, and the necessary amounts are then delivered at the correct moment. These disadvantages can be addressed by various cyber-physical systems, that is briefly explained in this chapter.
