Fostering Mindfulness and Compassion

Abstract

The integration of compassion, mindfulness, and service learning in higher education is emphasized in this abstract via an all-encompassing theoretical framework. Educators are assisted in the development of transformative learning experiences by utilizing service learning frameworks, compassion education models, contemplative pedagogy, transformative learning theory, and holistic education paradigms. Civic responsibility, self-awareness, and critical reflection are emphasized within the framework.
