Abstract

Learning has been transformed by e-learning, which makes it simpler to learn from any location. It can be challenging, tough, to make sure people are being truthful when they learn online. As it is very easy to get material online, people can engage in practices like copying from the internet and cheating in online tests. We need to come up with innovative strategies to fight cheating and maintain equitable education for all as technology advances. To guarantee that everyone adheres to the same standards of honesty, educational institutions require support and well-defined policies. The study investigates the driving force behind student involvement in academic dishonesty. The solutions and difficulties of upholding the academic integrity in online learning contexts are also covered in the study. This chapter discusses the factors responsible for students' involvement in academic dishonesty. The chapter also discusses strategies that educational institutions can adopt to maintain academic integrity.
