Abstract
In recent years, increasing emphasis has been placed on the integration of ICTE. In particular, the teaching of literature has been at the center of this integration, with the aim of improving student engagement and learning outcomes. In this regard, the action-based approach emphasizes the active engagement of students and the concrete relevance of teaching literature. This chapter aims to explore the integration of ICT into the teaching of literature within the framework of the action-based approach. More specifically, the chapter will address the following questions: What is the action-based approach to teaching literature? How can ICT be used to improve the teaching of literature within the action-based approach? And what are the challenges of integrating ICT into the teaching of literature using the action-based approach? In addressing these questions, this chapter seeks to provide an overview of the potential benefits and challenges of integrating ICT into the teaching of literature, and to offer practical suggestions for educators seeking to do so.
