Abstract

Educational tourism, also known as edutourism or educational travel, is a form of travel that combines learning with tourism. It involves visiting different locations to learn about their culture, history, environment, and people. This type of tourism has gained popularity in recent years as people seek more meaningful and enriching travel experiences beyond traditional sightseeing. One of the key aspects of educational tourism is its focus on learning and personal growth. Travelers engage in activities such as guided tours, workshops, lectures, and hands-on experiences that provide insights into the local way of life. For example, visiting archaeological sites with a knowledgeable guide can offer a deeper understanding of ancient civilizations and their contributions to modern society. Another significant component of educational tourism is its interdisciplinary nature. Travelers can explore a wide range of subjects including art, architecture, science, ecology, sociology, and anthropology. Additionally, educational tourism contributes to sustainable tourism practices.
