Abstract

The case refers to the mechanics that oil a successful industry academic partnership and collaboration. Different models that exist in this domain have been touched upon with information about what needs to cement this relationship. Research into the factors that have been found to have the most impact on quality and durability of the collaboration has been cited in the case. Even though different fields have different expectations from a student coming out from the academic world, adequate attention to such collaborations can improve employability and reduce the disconnect between industry and academics.
