Abstract
The results of research on climatic conditions in three geographical (forest vegetation) zones of Vietnam are presented. The zones were identified to assess the increase in wood organic mass in relation to changes in climatic conditions. Each so-called forest vegetation zone is characterized by certain indicators of climatic conditions, which affect the growth of wood organic mass. The relationship between the growth of wood mass, the main evaluation indicator of the forest fund, and climatic conditions is reflected based on the model of the Swedish climatologist H. Peterson. Climatic factors influencing wood growth were taken from reference books, except for solar energy. The methodology for calculating the influx of solar energy to forest areas in connection with the sun's altitude is provided in this work. The relationship between the growth of wood reserves and the climatic conditions of forest growth has been established in various forest lands, a dependency has been established, and zoning of the forest fund of Vietnam has been proposed, taking into account soil quality
