Abstract
The degree to which artificial intelligence fosters student participation determines the heutagogical performance. The main ideas of heutagogy, student engagement, and artificial intelligence are covered in this chapter. The chapter discuss how artificial intelligence technology can be used in education to enhance student engagememt in teaching and learning. The analysis demonstrates that heutagogy, student engagement, and student performance are strongly correlated. The chapter goes on to demonstrate the close relationship that exists between student performance and engagement and the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the classroom. The chapter suggests more advancements in the ways that artificial intelligence technology is used in education.
