Abstract

This chapter explores how social innovations may revolutionise healthcare delivery in a disruptive way. The story navigates the terrain of social innovations, solving complex healthcare difficulties and promoting health fairness by focusing on various methods, practises, and models. The chapter begins by examining social innovation in the context of healthcare and explains its importance, especially in environments with limited resources. The chapter also addresses the difficulties of implementing social innovations and growing them, including topics like financing, regulations, acceptance in different cultures, and multidisciplinary cooperation. The relationship between social innovations and health equity is critically discussed, highlighting how these innovations address socioeconomic determinants of health and support more inclusive healthcare systems. In order to achieve better results and more fairness, the closing remarks highlight the transformational potential of social innovations and advocate for their incorporation into more comprehensive healthcare policies.
