Abstract
This book chapter explores the intricacies of designing a compact triple band antenna specifically tailored for 5G NR C-Band applications. As communication technologies advance towards 5G networks, the demand for compact and efficient antennas in the C-Band spectrum becomes increasingly vital. This chapter delves into the challenges and opportunities, emphasizing the need for antennas with reduced height profiles without compromising performance. The antenna's design structure has Concatenated SRR with partial ground plane and it is defected by Circular Complementary Split Ring Resonator that achieves DGS technique. The objective is to attain high gain, low sidelobe levels, and efficient power radiation. To enhance performance metrics, this chapter employs various optimization techniques, including parameter tuning, metamaterial technique and electromagnetic simulations. A reduced dimension of 0.179λ0 X 0.318λ0 X 0.006λ0 mm3 is achieved. This reduction in size holds promising implications for applications with limited space constraints, particularly in 5G NR C-Band scenarios.
