Abstract

This chapter will explore the transformative potential of quantum computing in revolutionizing supply chain transparency. Beginning with an introduction to quantum computing principles and the current challenges in supply chain management, the discussion progresses to examine the fundamentals of quantum computing and its practical applications in supply chain optimization. Through real-world case studies, the authors highlight successful implementations of quantum solutions to enhance transparency and efficiency. However, the adoption of quantum computing in supply chain management is not without challenges, including technical hurdles and ethical considerations. Looking ahead, they anticipate continued advancements in quantum computing technology and its increasing impact on supply chain operations. By addressing these challenges and seizing emerging opportunities, organizations can leverage quantum computing to unlock new levels of transparency, resilience, and competitiveness in their supply chains.
