Abstract
Project success is the most widely communicated aspect of project management; however, there is limited understanding of how project management performance directly impacts the overall achievement of projects. Despite the abundance of project management resources in the construction sector, project management methodologies frequently fall short of consistently achieving success on construction projects. The study validates a robust correlation between project management systems and the successful completion of construction projects. Therefore, evaluating the influence of effectively implemented project management strategies on project success is essential in construction management. The study investigates contemporary project management methodologies focusing on the Internet of Things (IoT) transformative impact on construction projects and aims to establish and assess IoT's contributions in this context. Successful projects equip themselves with IoT technology and utilize project management methodologies to enhance their implementation, as endorsed by the study. Project failures are often associated with the strategies and techniques employed in project management, underscoring the significance of incorporating IoT technologies to improve project outcomes. Proficient project managers comprehensively comprehend employing managerial tactics to achieve the intended results in every phase of the project's lifespan. Acknowledging the importance of incorporating IoT into project management decision-making processes is essential.
