Abstract
Agriculture in India is an important field with a significant economic impact in several countries. Due to the substantial population growth, meeting people's dietary needs has become a relevant concern. Agriculture is critical to a country's economic development. Approximately 58% of a country's primary source of livelihood is farming. Farmers till date are working with conventional farming techniques. These techniques were not precise and thus reduced the productivity and consumed a lot of time and money. Precise farming helps to increase the productivity by precisely determining the steps that needs to be practiced. Predicting the weather conditions, analyzing the soil, predicting the crops for cultivation, finding the amount of fertilizers, pesticides that need to be used are some elements of precision farming. Precise farming uses advanced technologies such as IoT, deep learning, data analytics, and machine learning to collect the data, understand the systems, and predict the results.
