Abstract
Globalization and technological evolution have compelled organizations to rethink their operational structures, technological infrastructures, and the ways their employees engage with work. Similarly, leaders face new challenges that require the reconfiguration of their mental models and leadership approaches. This chapter examines how self-leadership and complexity leadership theory provides a comprehensive and effective framework for strategic leadership actions tailored to the demands of today's competitive and fast-paced environment. Furthermore, recognizing the significant contribution of these leadership strategies to the field of innovation and to the more efficient use of team dynamics, this chapter proposes conceptual links to demonstrate how these frameworks can influence technology adoption through the lenses of the TOE and UTAUT models. This approach allows for greater organizational efficiency and resilience by enhancing the digital transformation capabilities of organizations.
