Abstract
Industry 5.0 concepts and technologies are increasingly being adopted in the aviation sector, revolutionizing the way aircraft are designed, manufactured, maintained, and operated. Industry 5.0 leverages digital twin technology, creating virtual replicas of physical aircraft, which can be used for real-time monitoring, testing, and design optimization. Engineers and data scientists work together to create and manage these digital twins. Robotics and automation are used for precision manufacturing and assembly processes. Collaborative robots (cobots) are employed to work alongside human technicians, ensuring safer and more efficient assembly.
