Abstract

In the education sector, digital transformation plays a crucial role for the purpose of ensuring high-quality education as well as equal opportunities for all learners. In this respect, remote learning makes the process seamless by allowing all individuals to receive equal education. The present study in this context attempts to define how Covid-19 has digitalized the education sector. The associated challenges as well as opportunities for remote learning have been mentioned in the present report. From the chapter, it is identified that since remote learning is flexible in nature; hence, undeniably the education sector is focusing more on such new approaches. Considering the experience of students and teachers it is also ascertained that though remote learning was challenging initially, however, considering the benefits, its scope is increasing now.
