Abstract
In an era typified by rapid technological breakthroughs, demographic shifts, and global issues such as the COVID-19 epidemic, the landscape of higher education is undergoing profound transformations. This chapter discusses the multiple characteristics of higher education in an uncertain environment. It digs into the challenges and opportunities that educational institutions confront as they traverse the uncharted waters of the 21st century.
