Abstract

The integration of big data analytics (BDA) and marketing information systems (MKIS) has grown more and more significant in the field of tourism marketing. This investigation's theoretical framework is based on important works in the domains of data analytics, marketing technology, and tourism marketing. Insights gleaned from marketing management illuminate the evolution from conventional marketing strategies to contemporary data-centric methodologies. Recognizing the current reliance on MKIS and BDA within the domain of tourism marketing mandates an appreciation of this historical progression. This study on big data provides a thorough review of the tools, technologies, and approaches involved in BDA. These types of technologies shape visitor experiences and provide a further perspective on the synergy between MKIS and BDA in tourism marketing.
