Abstract
This is an ethnographic narrative chapter through qualitative research and theoretical lens. The author shares personal and profound emotional details of structural violence, systemic violence, and urban conflict. There will be an exploration of urban conflict, structural violence, and systemic issues within a neglected borough, as seen through a personal narrative and research lens. Key themes and sections discuss urban conflict, systemic violence, and personal experiences within a neglected borough. It reflects the structure often seen in academic research with clear delineation of topics and progression of ideas. The study delves into historical urban transitions, mayoral policies and legacies, community impacts, family experiences, health and social services, educational and professional development, as well as policy implications and future directions. It aims to shed light on the complexities of urban settings, the interplay between leadership and community well-being, and the long-lasting effects of neglect and adversity on individuals and societies.
