Abstract

Through this chapter, the authors present an implementable idea for improving the customer experience and thereby improving the customer value exchange in the domain of REF (real estate finance) business. The authors ideate an intuitive platform that would involve NFT tokenization of real-world assets, and unique transactions carried out using embedded BaaS elements, all being visualized and interacted in a metaverse environment, increasing customers' connection with the real assets, thereby, enabling seamless decision-making, with immaculate visualization, deepening their trust in global banking. With immutable deal-execution NFT tokenization offers, reduction in fraud and enhanced reconciliation of transactions will enhance, thereby increasing the safeguards of a financial institution's exposure in this business vertical. Also, ease in wider global trade-offs will enhance, thereby potentially creating a more efficient and liquid market for real assets. This will significantly shorten the required time and effort to maintain and sell these assets.
