Abstract
The chapter encircles the situation that arose after the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to investigate factors to deal with such pandemics in the future and suggest countermeasures. Global economies suffered irreparable losses in terms of energy utilization, bringing the world into a new era of geopolitical tensions. These circumstances make energy regulations difficult. The investment in the energy sector was also significantly lower than expected. The world needs to find feasible avenues in alignment with the present challenges. We must prioritize the use and sharing of energy-related knowledge and practices in developing and developed parts of the world. As economies recuperate from the pandemic, new challenges in the energy sector have emerged. They were optimistic about creating a more promising energy future through appropriate policies and investments. It recognizes the pivotal function that individuals, corporations, and governments can perform in alleviating the impact of such crises. The chapter has proffered valuable insights and motivation to act towards a more secure and sustainable energy future.
