Comprehensive Survey of Adaptive and Intelligent Education System Using Reinforcement Learning

Abstract

Adaptive and intelligent educational systems (AIES) have the potential to revolutionize learning by personalizing the educational experience for each student. This chapter presents a comprehensive survey of the application of reinforcement learning in AIES. The authors discuss the use of reinforcement learning to formulate personalized learning plans and pedagogical policies. The chapter also explores the integration of reinforcement learning to build intelligent environments that provide personalized learning recommendations based on students' cognitive attributes and learning styles.
