Abstract
Partnering non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and social work students is effective in helping conflict-affected communities. It offers valuable knowledge, hands-on practice, and a fresh NGO perspective. However, it presents obstacles, such as personal biases and cultural barriers. To overcome these, social work students must prioritize mental wellness, keep unbiased views, and learn about local cultures. Transformative learning is an essential aspect of this partnership. NGOs assist folks facing significant life challenges, enabling students to understand difficulties beyond textbooks. Together, they positively impact communities by tackling complex issues, spreading awareness, and fostering inclusivity.
