Abstract
This chapter focuses on the viscometric, volumetric, and spectroscopic techniques to investigate the thermo-acoustic parameters and nature of molecular interactions. This in-depth analysis of the literature focuses on the properties and uses of benzoate-based combinations in aqueous solutions. Studies examining the density and volumetric properties, excess parameters, molecular interactions, and thermal properties of benzoate-based compounds like sodium benzoate, ethyl benzoate, and methyl benzoate are the main subject of interest. The current review presents research and studies on acoustic and thermodynamic investigations as well as molecular interactions of the mixtures. This review aims not only to consolidate the existing knowledge but also to inspire future investigations that contribute to the development of novel materials used in many applications of ultrasonic sound in the disciplines of medical, pharmacology, agricultural practices, etc.
