Abstract

The study investigate how female B.Tech. students view of artificial intelligence (AI) in their personal life and determine how their views about AI relate to the advancements they encounter. The study is cross-sectional across only a limited sample and it is important to understand the comparison for different set of students to assess the real situation of Artificial Intelligence. The chapter attempts to construct awareness index and perception index using principle component analysis which further uses ANOVA on a sample of 150 engineering students to better understand the numerous phenomena arising from AI. The results found use of AI has a significant impact on creating better career opportunities. The results of AI are also favourable towards better awareness, curiosity, knowledge, and learning.
