Abstract

This research chapter explores the impact of innovative assessment methods on learning outcomes. It examines project-based assessments, portfolios, peer assessment, and self-assessment and their role in nurturing student learning. The paper highlights the advantages, challenges, and implications of these alternative assessment strategies. It emphasizes how innovative assessment methods can enhance student engagement, critical thinking, and essential skills. The research also emphasizes the importance of these methods in fostering a holistic approach to learning.
