Abstract

This chapter examines Sustainable Development Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure with a focus on the essential functions of inclusive and sustainable industrialization, infrastructure development, and universal access to information and communications technology in promoting sustainable development. The examination commences by focusing on Industry 5.0, emphasizing its capacity to facilitate all-encompassing and eco-friendly industrial progress, in conjunction with sustainable manufacturing and efficient resource utilization. Subsequently, it analyzes the improvement of transportation infrastructure and the progress of logistics as pivotal factors in facilitating commerce and market accessibility. Moreover, the significance of resilient telecommunications infrastructure and fair access to information is highlighted. It also explores the transformative effects of ICT on enhancing sustainability and efficiency in logistics. It facilitates innovation, stimulates economic development, and advocates for environmental sustainability by Including these components.
