Abstract
For the world to achieve the goal of “Zero Hunger,” it is necessary to conduct a thorough assessment of worldwide activities. This chapter evaluates the advancements and obstacles in achieving this objective as part of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Agenda. Although progress has been accomplished, there are still ongoing challenges, such as food insecurity, which are worsened by factors like unequal distribution and environmental deterioration. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted weaknesses even further. Immediate action is crucial, requiring comprehensive approaches that combine policy, technology, and community involvement. It is crucial to prioritize sustainable agriculture, fair distribution, and assistance for needy communities. This chapter highlights the need for collaborative efforts in order to achieve a world free from hunger.
