The government in response to this issue are actively striving to decrease carbon emissions and achieve a carbon neutrality objective globally. The article thoroughly summarizes the latest advancements in research concerning carbon peaking and neutrality. Additionally, it discusses the idea of carbon neutrality and the strategies governments use to address climate change. The article further, highlights the importance and necessity of achieving carbon neutrality while outlining the strategies to achieve the target. It depicts the obstacles that arise while attempting to meet the carbon neutrality target. The article proposes strategies to attain an economy without carbon emissions by restricting non-renewable energy and transitioning towards renewable sources. Finally, concludes by providing a conceptual understanding and practical solutions for operations, critical tasks, and governmental initiatives that will help to attain a future without carbon emissions.
