Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic triggered a significant shift in academic settings. Post-pandemic normality prompted a return to traditional face-to-face classrooms from virtual and hybrid models. This chapter explores the multifaceted challenges students encounter during this transition, drawing on existing literature and empirical observations. Findings highlight the complexities of readjusting to classroom environments, managing academic expectations, and fostering peer interactions. Moreover, it emphasizes the critical need to address mental health concerns amid performance pressures. Practical implications underscore the importance of resilience, adaptability, and community support in empowering students. It calls for educational institutions to prioritize student well-being and academic success through robust support systems and open discourse on mental health. This chapter contributes to understanding the evolving academic landscape, offering insights for stakeholders to develop targeted interventions and support mechanisms for successful transitions in the post-pandemic era.
