Abstract

The objective of this chapter is to thoroughly investigate the significant transformations induced by Industry 4.0 across many industries. The term “Contextualizing Industry 4.0” is often used to describe the paradigm shift that emphasizes the core principles of this technology revolution. We emphasize the importance of the rise of computational-physical systems, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and sophisticated data analytics. These technologies are expected to greatly alter conventional industrial systems. The dynamic nature of this environment creates possibilities for pioneering research in linking intelligent, self-adjusting systems. We provide a comprehensive analysis by integrating theoretical ideas and actual examples to explore the operations of intelligence, machine learning, and the Internet.
