Abstract

This chapter explores the potential of generative AI to transform education and empower teachers. The author examines how AI's data-driven insights can boost responsiveness, motivation, inclusion, and experiential understanding. While promising, integrating AI demands thoughtful oversight to uphold humanistic values. The author emphasizes that teacher wisdom must direct implementation ethically, and learners need support developing AI literacy. Though rapidly advancing, generative tools should empower, not replace, educator and student agency.
