Abstract
The economic crisis and social changes and the technological advances, including the increase usage of AI, have brought numerous transformations to most workplaces. The pursuit of productivity, combined with the complexity of tasks and time pressures, has led to discussions about possible consequences, not only for workers but also for organizations. This chapter focuses on the psychosocial risks in the workplace as a critical challenge for organizations that aim to ensure the mental and physical well-being and productivity of their workforce. Psychosocial risks encompass a wide range of factors related to work, relationships, and individual well-being, having the potential to impact both mental and physical health. It is critical to recognize that they are not solely a concern of the individual but have far-reaching effects on the organization and society as a whole.
