Abstract
With its unprecedented ability to harness collective intelligence Web 2.0 has ushered possibilities in digital entrepreneurship. Digital entrepreneurship has occupied an indispensable place in the business industry as it has a dynamic approach to engross customers on online platforms and to promote their products and services. Over the years, access to digital technology has played a major role in empowering women to do business.The famous women entrepreneurs of Nykaa, Zivame, Limeroad and Sugar Cosmetics have paved a way for entrepreneurial development that features each kind of new digital business, and an analysis of how those traits determine the success factors of women entrepreneurship. In the panorama of entrepreneurship, the function of women has been evolving step by step over the years. One place wherein their effect has been specifically noteworthy is virtual media entrepreneurship. This chapter delves into the arena of girls' entrepreneurs within the virtual media area, brands like Nykaa, Zivame, Limeroad and SUGAR Cosmetics.
