Abstract
This study explores the application of key Industry 5.0 technologies in supply chain management. While Industry 4.0 focused on automation and reducing human involvement, Industry 5.0 emphasizes human-machine collaboration. This research investigates the potential of natural language processing (NLP), Metaverse, Cobots, and Edge Computing in different stages of the supply chain, including procurement, production, and distribution. The findings show that these technologies can increase the efficiency of supply chains by reducing administrative costs, increasing visibility and traceability, increasing collaboration, and preventing equipment breakdowns. Using these technologies, companies can achieve agility, respond to dynamic market conditions, and gain a competitive advantage in the era of Industry 5.0. More research is needed to investigate the broader impact of these technologies and to identify additional applications of Industry 5.0 in different industries.
