The implementation of sustainable practices throughout the supply chain has been hampered by globalisation, outsourcing, and offshore, posing numerous obstacles for manufacturers. Blockchain technology may be able to assist with sustainability-related concerns. The research's conclusions deepen our knowledge of the blockchain's potential applications in environmentally friendly supply chains and industry. The research also explains how blockchain technology may enhance transparency, traceability, real-time information exchange, and data security to impact manufacturers' sustainable performance.
